Today I went to Hornby Primary School to do different activities. The activities The first 2 lessons were: Scratch, Book Creator. the other 2 were: Scratch(again) and Animaker. Book creator was pretty easy and super fun because you can decorate the cover of your book. Scratch was fun and a little bit hard because it was coding. In scratch I learnt how to move the character and create a backdrop. Animaker was hard for me because you had to do different scenes. It was my first time doing animaker so I couldn't really understand the steps. St Bernadette's presented scratch and book creator. I was happy because I didn't have to do school work!

Today's activity I did was summer haiku. A haiku is a poem that doesn't need to rhyme and only needs 3 lines. The first and last line has 5 syllables while the middle line hasb7 syllables. It was easy to come up with my poem because it was about summer and there are lots of themes to come up with. I chose the sun because it's a sunny day here in Christchurch.
