Summer Haiku

 Talofa bloggers,

Today's activity I did was summer haiku. A haiku is a poem that doesn't need to rhyme and only needs 3 lines. The first and last line has 5 syllables while the middle line hasb7 syllables.  It was easy to come up with my poem because it was about summer and there are lots of themes to come up with. I chose the sun because it's a sunny day here in Christchurch. Here are my poem and picture:

Please let me know if there are any mistakes. Are there any improvements that I should do?

  1. Kia ora Tiffany,

I really enjoyed reading your beautiful haiku poem about summer - ka pai! You have done a great job getting all the syllables correct on each line and I really like the big yellow sun you have included in your image.

I haven't been to Christchurch before but it sounds lovely and sunny. Here in Auckland it has been really sunny too!

Keep up the great blogging and I look forward to seeing more of your work soon.

    Ngā mihi nui,
